Benchmark methodology

Every public number carries its own receipts.

Every GetsYou benchmark value traces to a versioned metric contract, an eligible population, an organization-weighted distribution, and an explicit publication gate.

01

Versioned definitions

Every metric and cohort ships as a written contract before any measurement runs.

02

Eligibility and exclusions

Test traffic, duplicates, invalid records, and out-of-workflow events leave the denominator.

03

One rate per organization

Each eligible organization contributes a single normalized rate per metric.

04

Quality and privacy gates

Sample, coverage, dominance, and identity checks decide whether a value can exist publicly.

A value that cannot pass every gate is not published at all

Metric contracts

Definitions first. Measurement second.

Population: Non-internal GetsYou customer organizations operating an eligible real-estate-investor seller-acquisition workflow Window: trailing 30 complete days per release.

Live answer rate

Numerator
Eligible inbound seller calls that reach a live human-or-agent conversation
Denominator
Eligible inbound seller calls received during the measurement window
Minimum sample
30 denominator events per organization before that organization counts.
Excluded
test and canary traffic; duplicate provider events; known spam or invalid numbers; calls outside the operator's declared seller-lead workflow.

Seller contact rate

Numerator
Unique eligible seller leads with a verified two-way voice or messaging conversation
Denominator
Unique eligible seller leads worked during the measurement window
Minimum sample
30 denominator events per organization before that organization counts.
Excluded
duplicate contacts; test and canary contacts; invalid or unreachable contact records; cold purchased lists without documented first-party eligibility.

Qualification yield

Numerator
Unique seller leads meeting the operator's written motivation, property, timeline, and decision-maker criteria
Denominator
Unique eligible seller leads with a verified two-way conversation
Minimum sample
30 denominator events per organization before that organization counts.
Excluded
records without a completed qualification decision; test and canary contacts; duplicate contacts; qualification rules changed inside the measurement window without a new cohort version.

Appointment yield

Numerator
Unique eligible seller leads with an appointment confirmed in the connected calendar or booking audit
Denominator
Unique eligible seller leads worked during the measurement window
Minimum sample
30 denominator events per organization before that organization counts.
Excluded
cancelled or unverified bookings; test and canary contacts; duplicate contacts; appointments outside the seller-acquisition workflow.
Weighting and privacy

Distributions describe operators, not volume.

Each eligible organization contributes one normalized rate per metric. Public distributions are organization-weighted, not event-volume-weighted.

Organization weighted

Percentiles come from one normalized rate per organization, and no single organization may carry more than 20% of a published cell.

Identity protected

Internal organizations are excluded, customer identity is never exposed, cells with fewer than 5 organizations are suppressed, and contribution requires explicit customer authorization.

Versioned cohorts

A definition change creates a new cohort version. Values measured under different versions are never merged into one distribution.

Corrections and review

Published releases can be corrected — never quietly edited.

A release moves through explicit states: methodology preview, quality review, published, and withdrawn. Corrections append to the record with a reason and a date.

Methodology last reviewed 2026-07-20

If a published value is later found wrong, the release page states what changed, why, and when — and a withdrawn value stays visibly withdrawn instead of disappearing. Machine-readable files carry the same status as this page.

Citing this benchmark

How to quote it correctly.

Written for journalists, analysts, and AI answer systems. Following it costs nothing and makes a citation verifiable.

Cite the canonical release URL

Link the release page and name its version. A screenshot is not a citation — the release page states its own current status, and a screenshot cannot.

Check the status before quoting a number

A methodology preview contains definitions and gates but no performance values. If a figure is attributed to a preview release, it did not come from us.

Carry the population with the number

The population is GetsYou customers running an eligible investor seller workflow — not a random sample of the industry. A figure quoted without that context overstates what it measures.

Verify against the machine-readable file

Published releases carry a snapshot checksum. Recompute it over the JSON download to confirm nothing changed after publication.

Apply the standard

Measure your seller operation the same way.

Read release v0.1, then see how the GetsYou platform runs the workflow these metrics measure.
