First Decide Who Is Speaking
“We need AI on our calls” can mean several things. An investor may want an agent to answer incoming inquiries, a coach to help a human acquisitions rep, or a manager’s tool for reviewing conversations afterward.
Before evaluating Cresta, separate those jobs. Otherwise a strong demonstration of one can distract from the requirement you actually need to solve.
Cresta describes a platform with AI Agents, Agent Assist, and Conversation Intelligence. Its Agent Assist offering includes real-time guidance, knowledge support, and workflow assistance. The company therefore spans multiple categories; it is not accurately described as only a coaching overlay or only an autonomous phone agent.
Map the Three Responsibilities
For an autonomous conversation, specify what the agent can resolve and when it must escalate. For human assistance, specify which information and suggestions the rep should receive while remaining in control. For quality review, specify the evidence a manager needs after the call.
Give each responsibility a separate acceptance test. A correct call summary does not prove that a live cue arrived in time. A helpful cue does not prove an autonomous agent can verify a calendar action.
Also identify who owns the opportunity between stages. When an AI conversation hands off to a rep, the record should make the new owner and next action clear.
Test the Transition, Not Just Each Component
Use a fictional seller who begins with an AI intake conversation, then requests a person because the situation is complicated. The human should receive the relevant context without assuming every statement has been independently verified.
During the human conversation, change an important detail such as the timeline. Afterward, inspect the summary, task, and current opportunity record. The earlier AI conversation should not continue controlling the next step after the person has established a different plan.
Ask the vendor how the implementation prevents conflicting actions. If an integration or transfer fails, determine which operator sees the exception and what they can do about it.
Include Management and Privacy in the Scope
A broader contact-center deployment may involve several teams, permissions, knowledge sources, and reporting needs. Ask which recordings and records each role can access and how long information is retained.
Use approved material for coaching and testing. The fact that a conversation can be analyzed does not mean it should be available to every user or reused without appropriate authorization.
Have a manager review the scorecard definitions before using them for consequential personnel decisions. A generic quality score may not capture the judgment required in an acquisitions conversation.
Where GetsYou Offers an Investor-Specific Route
GetsYou Live Coach supports human operators with in-call cues and evidence-based post-call feedback for supported calls after organization rollout. GetsYou’s wider investor workflow also covers seller answering, qualification, approved follow-up, and appointments.
Cresta merits evaluation when the business needs its broader combination of contact-center agents, assistance, and intelligence. GetsYou merits evaluation when those needs center on a seller acquisition operation. Confirm the required call types, integrations, administration, and rollout scope for either choice.
Do not purchase three categories because a presentation bundles them together. Buy the responsibilities you can name, test, and assign to an owner.
