Moving Contacts Is the Easy Part

An acquisitions manager opens the new CRM on Monday. The contacts are there. So are the phone numbers. What is missing is the promise made on Friday: call after the seller speaks with her brother, not before.

That is the risk to examine when shopping for a REsimpli alternative. A successful migration preserves the work in progress, not just the rows in a spreadsheet.

REsimpli combines real estate investor CRM functions with marketing, communications, and AI agents. Its current offering includes AI answering, qualification, booking, and follow-up. Comparing it with GetsYou as “a CRM versus AI” would miss that overlap. The useful comparison is how each system handles your particular seller workflow, and how much work your team must do to keep it reliable.

Pull Five Types of Records Before a Demo

Use anonymized examples from your operation. Include an unanswered inbound inquiry, an active negotiation, a seller who requested a later callback, a booked appointment, and someone who must not receive further outreach.

For each example, write down the current owner, last meaningful conversation, property, next action, and restrictions. Then ask the vendor to show where those facts belong. A general contact note is not enough if an automated follow-up cannot see it.

The appointment example deserves its own check. Can you distinguish a proposed time from a confirmed calendar event? What happens to reminders when the seller reschedules? Does the acquisitions rep see the new time without checking two systems?

Decide What You Are Replacing

Make an inventory before cancelling anything. Your existing setup may include phone numbers, lead-source tracking, mail campaigns, financial reporting, saved filters, and buyer records. An alternative that solves seller follow-up does not automatically replace every one of those jobs.

Split the inventory into three decisions:

  • Keep: tools that already work and have a clear owner.
  • Replace: workflows the new platform has demonstrated with your requirements.
  • Retire: duplicate subscriptions or automations that will no longer run.

Assign someone to verify exports and retained history. Do not assume call recordings, attachments, custom fields, and consent records all travel together because a contact export is available.

Run a Controlled Cutover

Choose one approved lead source or a bounded set of active, opted-in leads. Establish which system may send messages and place calls during the test. Two systems contacting the same seller is not a fair comparison; it is a preventable operating mistake.

Record missed follow-ups, wrong-owner assignments, duplicate outreach, appointment errors, and time spent repairing records. Review the underlying conversations before treating an increase in bookings as an improvement in qualified opportunities. A small pilot is useful evidence about setup quality, not proof of a universal conversion lift.

Keep an export and a written rollback plan until the new workflow is reconciled. Set a specific cutover time rather than allowing ownership to drift over several days.

Where GetsYou Belongs on the Shortlist

GetsYou’s investor operations platform connects seller answering, qualification, approved follow-up, appointments, and the next operating steps around shared context. It is aimed at teams with an existing pipeline to work, not buyers expecting software to manufacture motivated sellers from a cold list.

If REsimpli already handles your workflow well, changing systems needs a concrete reason. If your team is repeatedly rebuilding context or chasing next actions, bring those examples to the comparison. Ask GetsYou to demonstrate them, including what still requires a person and which capabilities require rollout or configuration.
