An Appointment Is Not Always the Best Outcome

Suppose a rep learns that the caller cannot authorize a sale and does not want further contact. Ending the conversation respectfully may be the right decision. A scorecard that rewards every appointment and penalizes every early exit can teach the team to ignore that distinction.

For investors evaluating Salesken, begin with what a good seller conversation means in your business.

Salesken describes real-time sales guidance, conversation analysis, automated quality review, and CRM-related workflows. Its site includes real estate use cases, so it would be inaccurate to claim it has no real estate relevance. Your specific acquisitions process still needs to be demonstrated rather than inferred from an industry label.

Separate Buyer Sales From Seller Acquisitions

A team selling homes and a team buying properties may both discuss budget, timing, and appointments. They are working toward different decisions.

For acquisitions, a useful review might ask whether the rep clarified authority, understood the seller’s stated motivation, distinguished known condition from assumptions, and agreed on a suitable next step. A generic rubric about advancing a buyer toward a purchase may not capture that work.

Write a short description of each criterion and the evidence that satisfies it. Include “not established” as a legitimate finding. A model should not have to guess an answer just to fill every section of a report.

Calibrate With Human Review

Choose a small, authorized set of call excerpts or synthetic role-plays. Have two managers score them independently before comparing the software’s output. Where the managers disagree, resolve the definition first.

Look for specific failure modes: credit for a question never asked, a positive label based on tone rather than facts, or a missed distinction between the seller’s asking price and an offer your company approved.

Require supporting evidence for consequential judgments. A manager should be able to find the moment behind a score without accepting an unexplained number. Preserve room for an operator to correct an inaccurate interpretation.

Give Live Cues a Separate Evaluation

Post-call scoring and real-time guidance should not receive one blended grade. A tool might produce useful review notes but distract a rep during a conversation, or offer helpful cues without creating a strong coaching record.

Test whether a suggestion arrives while it can still help, whether it repeats a resolved concern, and whether the rep can dismiss it. Use an objection with a legitimate reason to wait so the evaluation rewards thoughtful discovery rather than pressure.

Confirm the calling setup and sources of context. A statement about real estate support is not proof that a particular dialer and property record are connected in your account.

Evaluating GetsYou on the Same Rubric

GetsYou Live Coach provides in-call cues and an evidence-based post-call scorecard, including missed moments and practice guidance. It is available for supported calls after organization rollout, with the human controlling the conversation and able to mute coaching.

Compare Salesken when conversation intelligence and coaching are the central requirement. Compare GetsYou when that coaching also needs to sit alongside seller answering, qualification, approved follow-up, and appointments. Ask both to work through your definitions rather than relying on a general industry demo.

Bring a seller-call rubric to GetsYou, or browse the coaching and investor software guides.

This vendor-authored guide uses official product information checked September 5, 2026. The proposed calibration exercise is not a claim of independently verified scoring accuracy.
