What the DNC list does
Contacts on the applicable do-not-call or suppression list are blocked from outbound outreach. When a person asks to stop, record the request immediately; automated opt-out handling also adds the suppression so later campaign attempts are refused.
Use Settings → Do Not Call to review and manage your organization's list. Removing an entry is an accountable action and should only happen when you have a valid reason and appropriate permission to contact the person again.
Which protections are not ordinary client settings
Some safeguards are enforced by the platform and are not simple toggles. Clients cannot turn off core DNC enforcement or bypass a known safety hold from a campaign screen. Calling-hour and channel-readiness checks also run when outreach is attempted.
Consent and disclosures
GetsYou provides disclosure settings, but your business is responsible for choosing language and outreach practices that fit the campaign, consent source, location, and applicable law. The AI must answer honestly if someone asks whether it is automated. For legal advice about a specific campaign, consult qualified counsel.
