Affiliate Program Terms
The commission rate card, payment cap, payout hold, exclusions, and attribution rules that govern the GetsYou.ai affiliate program. Every figure below is published straight from the policy the billing system runs on.

1. What these terms cover
These Affiliate Program Terms govern participation in the GetsYou.ai affiliate program operated by Vancom.io LLC. They apply in addition to our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Acceptable Use Policy — those documents continue to govern your use of the platform itself. Where this page and a signed partner agreement disagree, the signed agreement controls.
Direct referral program — no multi-level, no recruiting, no rank bonuses. You earn on the customers you personally refer. There is no down-line, nothing to buy to participate, and no quota.
The rates, cap, hold, and exclusions published here are rendered directly from the policy module our billing system uses to calculate commissions. This page and the amounts we actually pay cannot drift apart.
2. Joining the program
Create your profile from the affiliate program page. Enrollment is immediate, and an affiliate profile must be active at the time a referral signs up for that referral to be credited. Tax and payout verification still apply before money is released. Partners track referrals, commissions, and payout status in the partner portal.
You cannot earn a commission on your own account — a referral code used by the affiliate who owns it is not credited. We may pause or close an affiliate profile, including for fraudulent, automated, or abusive signups. Commissions tied to referrals obtained that way are cancelled and are not paid.
3. How a referral is credited to you
Your referral link is your unique code appended to our homepage:
https://www.getsyou.ai/?ref=YOUR-CODE
- The click stores the code. When someone opens your link, we store your code in their browser for 30 days.
- The signup creates the referral. Attribution is recorded when that person creates a GetsYou.ai account while your code is still stored — not at the moment they click. If they clear their browser data, use a different device or browser, or sign up after the 30-day window has passed, the referral is not recorded.
- One affiliate per referred account. A referred account is credited to exactly one affiliate. If a different code is applied to an account that is already attributed, the original attribution stands and the later code earns nothing. Earliest recorded attribution wins; we do not reassign a referral away from the affiliate who earned it.
- Commissions start at the first collected payment. A recorded referral earns nothing until that customer subscribes to a commissionable plan and the payment is actually collected.
- Introductions made outside the link. We can record a referral manually when a partner introduces a customer directly. Manually recorded referrals carry an additional payout condition — see section 7.
4. Commission rates by plan
Each plan family pays one rate on the referred customer’s first collected subscription payment and a second, lower rate on their subsequent payments. Rates apply to collected subscription revenue as defined in section 6.
| Plan | First payment | Months 2–12 |
|---|---|---|
Closer $497/mo | 20% | 10% |
Operator $1,197/mo | 15% | 7.5% |
Autopilot $1,697/mo | 12% | 6% |
Sales-led and custom plansReviewed Pro, Elite, Enterprise, Enterprise-volume, Partner, White-label, Custom | 15% | 10% |
Legacy self-serve plans Starter, Growth, Scale | 30% | 20% |
- Closer ($497/mo): 20% of your referral's first subscription payment, then 10% on months 2–12.
- Operator ($1,197/mo): 15% of the first subscription payment, then 7.5% on months 2–12.
- Autopilot ($1,697/mo): 12% of the first subscription payment, then 6% on months 2–12. The one-time onboarding fee is not commissioned.
- Pro, Elite, Enterprise, White-label and custom plans pay 15% on the first subscription payment and 10% on months 2–12. These payouts are reviewed by our team before they're released.
- Legacy Starter, Growth and Scale plans pay 30% on the first subscription payment and 20% on months 2–12.
A referred customer’s plan on the day each payment is collected determines the rate for that payment. If they upgrade or downgrade, later payments earn the new plan’s rate; payments already earned are not recalculated.
These are the standard program rates. Where an individually negotiated agreement exists, that agreement controls. Your live rate is always the one shown in the partner portal, and each commission records the rate it was paid at.
5. How many payments earn a commission
Capped at 12 paid subscription months per referred customer. The first collected subscription payment earns the first-payment rate, and each collected payment after it earns the recurring rate until the referral reaches 12 commissioned payments. After that the referral stops generating commissions, even if the customer stays subscribed.
A small number of individually approved partners hold a written exception to the payment count. Such an exception changes only how many payments are commissioned — never the plan’s rate.
6. What we commission — and what we don't
We only commission collected subscription revenue. One-time onboarding fees, top-up minute packs, wallet purchases, usage, tax, credits, refunds, discounts, and chargebacks are not commissioned.
Commissioned
- Collected subscription payments on a commissionable plan, after discounts and credits and before tax.
- New subscriptions and renewal cycles for the referred customer, up to the payment cap in section 5.
Not commissioned
- One-time onboarding and setup fees.
- Top-up minute packs, message packs, and wallet purchases.
- Usage charges, including per-minute and per-message overage.
- Tax, credits, refunds, discounts, and chargebacks.
- Pass-through and third-party costs billed at cost.
- Payments on plans that are not commissionable, and payments beyond the cap in section 5.
7. When a commission becomes payable
A commission is recorded as soon as it is earned, then has to clear every applicable gate below before it is released. The partner portal shows which gate each commission is sitting behind.
- 30-day hold. Commissions become eligible for payout 30 days after they're earned. The hold covers the refund and dispute window on the underlying customer payment.
- First renewal, for manually recorded referrals. When a referral was recorded manually rather than through your link, its commissions are held until the referred customer’s second successful subscription payment.
- Review, for sales-led plans. See section 8.
- Verified tax and payout details. See section 9.
These gates are enforced by the payout system itself, not just stated here. A payout cannot be released — automatically or by a member of our team — until every applicable gate has cleared.
8. Review of sales-led plans
Pro, Elite, Enterprise, White-label and custom plans pay 15% on the first subscription payment and 10% on months 2–12. These payouts are reviewed by our team before they're released.
These contracts are individually negotiated, so a member of our team confirms the commission against the actual agreement before it is released for payout. Review is in addition to the 30-day hold, not instead of it. Commissions awaiting review appear in your portal with that status.
9. How you get paid
You can join, refer, and accrue commissions without providing tax or bank details. We ask for them once a commission is close to being released.
- Tax form first. A completed and signed W-9 (or the applicable US tax form) must be submitted through the partner portal and verified by our team before any payout is released. We store it encrypted; ordinary screens show only the last four digits of your taxpayer identification number.
- Payout account. Bank details are collected through hosted onboarding with our payment processor, Stripe, which verifies your identity and holds your account credentials. Full bank and routing details are not stored in our own systems.
- Method and currency. Payouts are sent by ACH direct deposit in US dollars to the bank account you connect. We do not currently offer other payout methods.
- Release. Commissions that have cleared every gate in section 7 are released on a scheduled payout run. A member of our team can also record a payout manually; the server re-checks the same hold, renewal, review, and tax-verification rules either way, so a commission cannot be paid twice or paid early.
- Failed transfers. If a bank transfer fails, the payout is held for review and is not retried automatically. We will ask you to correct your payout details before it is re-attempted.
You are responsible for the accuracy of your tax and bank details and for any tax owed on commissions you receive.
10. Refunds, chargebacks, and cancelled commissions
Commissions are calculated on revenue we actually collect. If the customer payment behind a commission is later refunded, credited, or charged back, that commission can be cancelled — this is one of the reasons the 30-day hold in section 7 exists. If a referred customer cancels their subscription, no further payments occur and no further commissions are earned; commissions already released to you are not clawed back.
11. Changes to the program
We may change these terms, including the rate card, the payment cap, the payout hold, and the list of exclusions. Changes take effect when they are published on this page, and the “last updated” date at the top is updated in the same change. Continuing to refer after a change means the updated terms apply to referrals recorded from that point forward.
Commissions you have already earned are not re-rated retroactively. Each commission keeps the rate that was in effect when the underlying customer payment was collected. A rate change affects payments collected after it takes effect.
We may end the program, or your participation in it, on notice. Commissions that have already cleared every gate in section 7 at that point are still paid.
12. Your relationship with us
Participating in the affiliate program does not make you an employee, agent, partner, or joint venturer of Vancom.io LLC, and it does not authorize you to make commitments, pricing promises, or product claims on our behalf. How you promote GetsYou.ai must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy and with applicable advertising, endorsement-disclosure, and anti-spam law.
13. Questions
