How GetsYou.ai billing works: wallet system, per-minute usage, auto-recharge, and purchasing additional minutes.

How Billing Works

GetsYou uses a simple billing model: a monthly platform fee plus per-minute usage for actual call time.

Your Wallet

Every organization has a wallet that holds your minute balance. Minutes are deducted in real-time as calls connect.

Checking Your Balance

Your current balance is visible on the dashboard. You'll also receive alerts as your balance gets low.

Purchasing Minutes

Buy additional minutes from the Wallet section of your dashboard:

  1. Go to Settings → Wallet
  2. Choose a minute package
  3. Complete the purchase via Stripe
  4. Minutes are added instantly

Auto-Recharge

Never run out mid-campaign. Set up auto-recharge to automatically purchase more minutes when your balance drops below a threshold:

  1. Go to Settings → Wallet
  2. Enable auto-recharge
  3. Set the minimum balance threshold
  4. Set the recharge amount
  5. Save your payment method

When your balance drops below the threshold, minutes are purchased automatically.

Per-Minute Rates

Rates depend on your plan tier:

Pay-As-You-Go $0.50
Starter $0.32
Growth $0.24
Scale $0.16

Higher tiers unlock lower per-minute rates, so upgrading your plan can reduce costs as your call volume grows.

What Counts as a Minute

  • Connected call time only — you're only billed for time when a call is actively connected
  • Unanswered calls — no charge
  • Voicemail skips — no charge
  • Rounding — billing is calculated per-second, not rounded up to full minutes

Monthly Platform Fee

Your plan includes a monthly platform fee that covers the dashboard, integrations, analytics, compliance features, and all capabilities included in your tier. See Pricing for current plan details.

Overdraft Protection

  • Outbound calls are blocked when your balance reaches zero — you won't accidentally burn through minutes
  • Inbound calls are allowed up to a small negative balance so you never miss a customer call

Usage Alerts

The platform sends usage alerts via email when your spending increases significantly compared to the previous month. Alerts trigger at 50%, 75%, and 100% increase thresholds.

Receipts and Invoices

All purchases generate receipts via Stripe. Access your billing history from Settings → Billing.
