Use the right queue

Qualified leads are people who meet the workflow’s criteria and need a next action. Unqualified leads remain available for review but should not be treated as sales-ready. The suppressed or DNC view is a safety state, not a follow-up list.

Open a record before changing its status and use the conversation, source, score, and notes as evidence. If a person asks not to be contacted, preserve that instruction even if another score or automation suggests follow-up.

Correct mistakes carefully

When a lead is in the wrong queue, correct the underlying status or stage rather than creating a duplicate. If a suppression looks unexpected, review its reason and your compliance policy before making any change.
