Start with one outcome

Open Settings → Automations, choose the event that should start the workflow, and add only the actions required for that outcome. Give the automation a name that explains its trigger and purpose.

Review audience, timing, channel readiness, suppression behavior, and stop conditions before enabling it. A delay or filter may be intentional.

Test and troubleshoot

Use a company-controlled test record that clearly matches the trigger. Confirm each action once and check the activity trail. If nothing happens, verify that the automation is active, the trigger occurred after activation, filters match the record, and another safety rule did not block the action. Disable a looping or misrouted workflow immediately.
