Map the lifecycle

Open Settings → Lifecycle Automation and review which real events move a contact, start follow-up, stop outreach, or request a person. Each rule should have one clear trigger and a safe result.

Do not use automation to override an opt-out, DNC status, or an active human conversation. Terminal outcomes should stop incompatible follow-up.

Test one path at a time

Use a company-controlled test contact and create the trigger intentionally. Confirm the contact moves once, the expected task or communication appears, and the rule does not loop. If the result is wrong, disable the affected rule while you correct the trigger and destination.
