Is a new number quarantined?

No waiting-period quarantine blocks a newly purchased number. Once the line is active—and carrier registration is ready for texting—it can be used for voice and SMS immediately.

A number can still be held when the platform sees an actual safety problem, such as a confirmed recycled-number signal, a carrier-registration issue, or an operator pause. Those are specific safeguards, not a blanket delay on every new line.

Why volume starts small

Immediate access is different from unlimited day-one volume. GetsYou gradually increases outbound activity to protect caller-ID and texting reputation:

  • SMS starts at 25 outbound messages per number on day one.
  • The SMS allowance increases by 25 per completed day until the normal 150-per-day number cap.
  • Voice also begins with a reputation cap and increases automatically as the number ages.

When a number reaches its daily cap, later campaign contacts wait for the next eligible day; the number is not broken or quarantined.
