Three Ways to Import Contacts
GetsYou.ai supports multiple ways to get your contacts into the platform.
Method 1: CSV Upload
The fastest way to bulk-import contacts.
Step 1: Navigate to your Dashboard and click on the Contacts section.
Step 2: Click "Import" and select your CSV file.
Step 3: Map your columns to GetsYou fields. At minimum, you need a phone number. Name, email, and any custom fields can also be mapped.
Step 4: Review the import preview. The system will flag duplicates and invalid phone numbers.
Step 5: Confirm the import. Contacts are immediately available for campaigns.
CSV Requirements:
- •UTF-8 encoding
- •Phone numbers in E.164 format (e.g., +15551234567) or standard US format
- •First row should be column headers
Method 2: CRM Sync
If you've connected GoHighLevel, contacts sync automatically.
- •New contacts in GHL appear in GetsYou within minutes
- •Contact updates flow bidirectionally
- •Pipeline stage changes sync in both directions

Method 3: Manual Entry
Add individual contacts from the Contacts page. Click "Add Contact" and fill in the details. Best for one-off additions or testing.
Duplicate Handling
The system automatically detects duplicates based on phone number. When a duplicate is found during import, the existing contact is preserved and no duplicate is created.
